"Room was quite small but very well equiped, everything worked and there was a bottle of chilled water in the fridge which was very much appreciated. Pool looked nice (didn't use it but several people did), not much in the way of a garden, small but well stocked bar. Restauarant was superb, really enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was very good, plenty of selection and good coffee from the machine. Hotel was very easy to find."

"Another year in a row we have booked this hotel, as last stop for our summer holiday. It is always a pleasure staying here: clean and nice rooms, friendly staff, a pool and a restaurant with lots of lovely things on the menu. Recommended by family of 4."

"Wonderful hospitality, large and well appointed rooms, beautiful local home made breakfast. A quiet charming place"

"Family operated, close to excellent restaurants, train station 10-15 minutes walk, good breakfast "

"Excellent breakfast with exceptionnel host who made our stay memerorable"

"We stayed only two days, winter time, so that we could not profit from the exterior, but we saw the potential. We particularly liked the interior decoration. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer."

"This is a lovely French home where we stayed while cycling the Canal du Midi. Highly recommended."

"Oui"

Merci."

"The property far exceeded our expectations, the location was sublime, with an abundance of wildlife and trees of many different species surrounding the house. The house itself has been restored in a sensitive manner, having all the necessary comforts of modern living, whilst still retaining the feel of the origins of the property. You can easily imagine life long ago while staying here. Overall 10 out of 10 "

"Nice clean place, good location. "

"Loved the property as it was super clean and had everything we needed. Ground floor location also made it easy with luggage. Check in instructions from host were in French and that led to a slight misunderstanding with the location of the code box."

"Location"

"La Bonne Planque is totally unique. Staying here was one of the best experiences we have had on our Europe trip. The setting right on the canal was beautiful and the perfect stop for cyclists on the Canal du Midi. Our host made us feel so welcome. We had delicious local food and wine for our evening meal and a lovely breakfast."
